Γεια σας (Greek for “hello”)! This is the fourth installment of Pondering Across Europe. Ep. 1 was about Athens, Ep. 2 about Thessaloniki, Ep. 3 about Liège.
After two episodes of being hard on Greece, this one starts looking for the good: the summer that keeps pulling all those Greeks living abroad back, sketched from experiences of two nights on Tinos with my parents and sister, our first holiday together in 28 years.
The ending on the Greek series had to come in two parts, and this is the first. If you missed Liège, catch up with Ep. 3 before this one.
Wear your boots, then. And yes, this time, since my dad’s actually a part of the story, he did wear them. Πάμε!
