Care to read my summary? Let me try to make this a bit more fun to consume, then.
My name is Michalis. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia, and after serving in the military for nine months, I went on to have a career in big organizations and corporations for about five years, in marketing, partnerships, and communications.
I’ve worked across very different contexts, project after project: corporations, EU agencies, SMEs, non-profits, and startups. I signed multi-million euro deals for Vodafone, led complex web strategy and digital marketing strategy revamps for UBS and clients, and created initiatives with minimal budget that drove 10Ks of users to SMEs like Nice Ice.
All these, for me to be(come):
✔ A critical mind: I turn messy problems into clear decisions and practical tools people actually use.
✔ A marketer’s eye: after years across partnerships, product, communications, and digital marketing, I’m adept with both strategy and implementation.
✔ A writer’s soul: I conceptualise narratives and dress them up with the right words, so that people can understand, appreciate, and enjoy them.
Since then, I’ve split my time between Croatia and Lithuania for an Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Impact Entrepreneurship. I’ll complete my degree by February 2027, in Liege, Belgium. And through this process, I’m rethinking my next personal and professional steps.
Overall, I’ve spent my first decade in adulthood exploring so many directions I lost count: marketing, businesses, coaching, philosophy, positive psychology, critical thinking. I’ve lived in six countries – Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Croatia, Lithuania, and soon to be seven with Belgium -, I’ve changed careers, I’ve graduated, climbed corporate, burnt out and fell completely, went back to school, trying to get once more up on my feet.
In all this, there was one constant: writing always stayed in one way or another. Thus, this is my personal space open to the world, that explores such a mess of a person I’ve become, crafting new ways of seeing a distorted reality, to words, to sentences, to titles and paragraphs.
Please, enjoy!
